After fronting several rock bands in his native Idaho, singer-songwriter Justin Ringle moved to Portland, OR in 2004 and began focusing on acoustic music, playing open mics regularly under the moniker Horse Feathers. The current makeup of the band was rounded out at the beginning of 2009 when Sam Cooper joined as a multi-instrumentalist. Currently a five piece, the group has been touring extensively in support of their fifth album, So It Is With Us.
On Thursday, Nov. 13, Horse Feathers will be performing a headlining concert in Austin at Holy Mountain. Portland-based Sara Jackson-Holman opens the show. The best part? We have two tickets to giveaway to one of our lucky Red River Noise readers.
The giveaway will be conducted as a raffle from our email list. Just click “enter the drawing” below after submitting your full name and email address.
