When indie rock pioneers Sebadoh have announced earlier this year that they were releasing of their first new LP in 14 years, fans and critics went apeshit. The longtime project of Lou Barlow, Jason Loewenstein, and Bob D’Amico, will release their new full-length album on Sept. 17 via Joyful Noise Recordings (in North America) and Domino Records (in UK / Europe). Entitled Defend Yourself, the album was both self-record and self-produced.
On Friday, Sept. 19, Sebadoh will be performing a headlining concert in Austin at Red 7. Austin’s Pink Nasty and Carl Sagan’s Skate Shoes open the show. The best part? We have two tickets to giveaway to one of our lucky Red River Noise readers.
The giveaway will be conducted as a raffle from our email list. Just click “enter the drawing” below after submitting your full name and email address. Only submissions with full names will be officially entered. We will pick the winner from these submissions before 6 p.m. on Thursday, the day before the show. The winner will be notified via email from Red River Noise. Good luck!
Red 7 is located at 611 E. 7th Street. Doors open at 9 p.m. Concert will be on the indoor stage. All ages welcome. Advance tickets for this event are available for purchase online here.
