Formed in 2006, dream-pop band A Sunny Day In Glasgow has members based in Philadelphia, Brooklyn and Sydney, Australia. They began as a collaboration between friends Ben Daniels and Ever Nalens, with Daniels being the only current mainstay. Despite a rotating cast of members, A Sunny Day In Glasgow have put out six releases and multiple singles from 2006 to 2010. The band is currently on tour in support of their latest LP, Sea When Absent, released in June via Lefse Records.
On Monday, July 21, A Sunny Day In Glosgow will be performing a headlining concert in Austin at Mohawk. Austin’s The Villettes and Wildfires open the show. The best part? We have two tickets to giveaway to one of our lucky Red River Noise readers.
