Nina Díaz, lead singer for the acclaimed San Antonio-based indie band Girl in a Coma (GIAC), recently announced the debut performance of her new solo project. Don’t worry GIAC fans, they are not breaking up. Díaz just decided to take some time off from GIAC to focus on solo material that she had been writing. For her new solo music, Díaz will be fronting a five-piece band that includes musicians Travis Vela (guitar), Justin Carney (bass), Jaime Ramirez (keys) and Jorge Gonzalez (drums).
Díaz will be making her world debut with her new backing band in Austin with performances scheduled for three nights at The Belmont: June 11, 18 and 25. She will perform an hour long set each night that will include over a dozen new songs that have never been released, and many never heard before in public. The best part? We will be giving away a pair of tickets to each show this month. That’s right…three pairs of tickets to giveaway.
The giveaways will be conducted as a raffle from our email list. Just click “enter the drawing” below after submitting your full name and email address. Only submissions with full names will be officially entered. We will pick the winner from these submissions before 6 p.m. on each Tuesday in June beginning on June 10. You only need to enter the drawing once. We’ll select ticket winners each week at random from this one entry list. Easy right? The winner will be notified via email from Red River Noise. Good luck!
