Literature is an dual city based power-pop band that can call both Austin and Philadelphia home now that frontman Kevin Adickes resides in the City of Brotherly Love. Adickes, once called the “Where’s Waldo? of Austin punk” by The Austin Chronicle, is the former frontman of locally known indie-punks Mothfight! and also had a short stint with indie-electro trio Spells. Formed in 2011, the group has been featured on the popular Casual Victim Pile II compilation and released their debut album Arab Spring via Austin Town Hall Records in 2012.
On Friday, June 20, Literature will be performing a headlining concert at Spider House Ballroom. Austin’s Gang Sign and Templo X share the bill. The best part? We have two tickets (via guest list) to giveaway to one of our lucky Red River Noise readers.
The giveaway will be conducted as a raffle from our email list. Just click “enter the drawing” below after submitting your full name and email address. Only submissions with full names will be officially entered. We will pick the winner from these submissions before 10 a.m. on Friday, the day of the show. The winner will be notified via email from Red River Noise. Good luck!
