Hailing from Solvang, California, the ska-punk ensemble known as the Mad Caddies came into existence in the summer of 1995. Their unique fusion of sounds also incorporates elements of roots reggae, country and even Dixeland jazz. After what appeared to be a small hiatus, the group is back on the road again in support of their first new album in seven years, Dirty Rice. The album is set for a May 13 release via Fat Wreck Chords.
On Friday, Apr. 11, Mad Caddies will be performing a headlining concert at Red 7. Touring mates Mrs. Skannotto co-headline. Austin-based ska-punk band Young Costello opens. The best part? We have two tickets to giveaway to one of our lucky Red River Noise readers.
