Metalachi, the self-proclaimed “first and only mariachi metal band,” is performing a headlining concert at The Belmont on Wednesday, Mar. 26. As you might guess from the group’s name, they cover popular metal and hard rock songs with a mariachi twist. With roots in Mexico, the band is composed of members Vecka De La Rockha, El Cucy, Pancho Rockafellar, Ramon Holiday, Warren Moscow and Maximilian “Dirty” Sanchez.
San Antonio punk rockers Piñata Protest will be co-headlining. Austin-based rock band Neon Cobra open the show. The best part? We have two pairs of tickets to their show at The Belmont we are giving away to one of our lucky Red River Noise readers!
