It is hard to believe that legendary LA-based hardcore punk band Suicidal Tendencies formed way back in 1981. The band is essentially founder and frontman Mike Muir and his ever-changing supporting musicians. Muir and company are still on the road in support of their latest release, 13.
13 is Suicidal Tendencies’ first album containing original material since 2000’s Free Your Soul and Save My Mind, and their first without guitarist Mike Clark since 1987’s Join the Army, although he was present on four out of 13 of the songs.
On Thursday, Dec. 12, Suicidal Tendencies are performing a headlining concert at Mohawk. Dubbed the “Slam City Tour Fall 13,” the group will be joined by fellow Angelinos Terror, Sac-Town’s Trash Talk and The Inspector Cluzo. The best part? We have two tickets to the concert to give away to one of our lucky Red River Noise readers.
The giveaway will be conducted as a raffle from our email list. Just click “enter the drawing” below after submitting your full name and email address. We will pick the winner from these submissions before 3 p.m. on Thursday, the day of the show. The winner will be notified via email from Red River Noise. Good luck!
Mohawk is located at 912 Red River. All ages are welcome. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Advance tickets are available for purchase here.
