Hip-hop icons Public Enemy are one of the most important groups in music history. Chuck D, Flavor Flav and company have been delivering socio-political messages that have given a voice to those who have long been ignored, unafraid to question institutional injustices, and challenging both leaders and laymen alike to work for change. They were also inductees for the 2013 class of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
On Saturday, Dec. 28, Public Enemy will be performing a headlining concert at Mohawk. Austin-based hip-hop acts Chief and the Doomsday Device co-headline. LETHAL (R&M) and Houston’s Branzil round out the bill. The best part? We have two tickets to the concert to give away to one of our lucky Red River Noise readers.
The giveaway will be conducted as a raffle from our email list. Just click “enter the drawing” below after submitting your full name and email address. We will pick the winner from these submissions before 3 p.m. on Friday, the day before the show. The winner will be notified via email from Red River Noise. Good luck!
Mohawk is located at 912 Red River. All ages are welcome. Doors open at 8 p.m. Advance tickets are available for purchase here.
