San Francisco-based scuzz-punkers Terry Malt’s music lies somewhere between The Ramones and ’80s post-punk you used to see on MTV. Lead by bassist/vocalist Phil Benson, the Bay Area trio formed after indie band Magic Bullets left them wanting a different form of musical expression. Terry Malts is currently on tour in support of their new album Nobody Realizes This Is Nowhere, released on September 10 via Slumberland Records.
On Thursday, Sept. 26, Terry Malts will be performing a headlining concert at Mohawk. Local support comes from indie bands Shivery Shakes, New Arrows and Bum Out. The best part? We have two tickets to give away to one of our lucky Red River Noise readers.
The giveaway will be conducted as a raffle from our email list. Just click “enter the drawing” below after submitting your full name and email address. We will pick the winner from these submissions before 2 p.m. on Thursday, the day of the show. The winner will be notified via email from Red River Noise. Good luck!
Mohawk is located at 912 Red River. All ages are welcome. Doors open at 9 p.m. Music starts at 10 p.m. Concert will be on indoor stage. Advance tickets are available for purchase here.
