Remember the mega hit “No Handlebars” was all over the radio? That group was Denver-based rock band called Flobots. The socio-political activists cum high-energy musicians aim to use their music to expand awareness of the profound economic, political and social transformations taking place around the world today. With a soapbox stage presence and extremely emotional and politically charged platform, Flobots may just change your way of looking at the world while rocking your face off.
Flobots are currently on tour in support of their new album, The Circle In The Square. On Monday, May 27, they will be playing a headlining concert at Red 7 with Denver’s “biggest smallest band,” Wheelchair Sportscamp. The best part? We have two tickets to giveaway to one of our lucky Red River Noise readers.
The giveaway will be conducted as a raffle on Facebook. Just click LIKE every time you see a link to this post on our Facebook wall. We will pick the winner on Monday, the day of the show. The winners will be notified via Facebook email and shared on our Facebook wall before 4 p.m. Good luck!
Red 7 is located at 611 East 7th Street. All ages are welcome. Concert will be on the outside stage. Doors open at 9 p.m. Advance tickets are available for this show here.
