Tennessee-based Nintendo synth-rockers The Protomen make music based on the popular 8-bit classic Megaman. They wear evil video game villain-style face paint and can “out Queen” most Queen tribute bands. Oh, and they have the best band member names known to man. Who else can say their band is composed of guys like “Commander,” “Turbo Lover” or “K.I.L.R.O.Y.” on sledgehammer?
On Tuesday, July 9, The Protomen will be performing a headlining concert at Red 7. In what should be an epic event to destroy all other epic events, The Protomen will be joined by fellow video game-inspired rockers Urizen. The best part? We have two tickets to giveaway to one of our lucky Red River Noise readers.
The giveaway will be conducted as a raffle from our email list. Just click “enter the drawing” below after submitting your full name and email address. Only submissions with full names will be officially entered. We will pick the winner from these submissions before 3 p.m. on Tuesday, the day of the show. The winner will be notified via email from Red River Noise. Good luck!
Red 7 is located at 611 E. 7th Street. All ages are welcome. Concert will be on the inside stage. Doors open at 9 p.m. Advance tickets are available for this show here.
