Portland-based hardcore punk band Millions Of Dead Cops (MDC) started in Austin in the early ’80s. MDC is best known for being a pioneer for Austin’s hardcore punk scene. Originally named The Stains, the group was part of punk history as one of the many groups on the now famous punk tour “Rock Against Reagan.” While we are not sure which lineup will perform with original singer Dave Dictor these days, we can assure you punk rock fans that won’t want to miss out on their shows.
On Friday, June 21, MDC will perform a headlining concert at Red 7. Verbal Abuse and Anti-Alls support. The best part? We have two tickets to give away to one of our lucky Red River Noise readers.
The giveaway will be conducted as a raffle from our email list. Just click “enter the drawing” below and submit your full name and email address. We will pick the winner from these submissions before 4 p.m. on Friday, the day of the show. The winner will be notified via email from Red River Noise. Good luck!
Red 7 is located at 611 E. 7th Street. All ages are welcome. Concert will be on the inside stage. Doors open at 9 p.m. Advance tickets are available for this show here.
