Saturday, Apr. 11, the good people at Eye In The Sky Collective and Weird Destiny Productions are throwing one hell of a two stage live music showcase at Cheer Up Charlie’s featuring tons of ear worthy music for indie fans. Fans of psychedelic space-rockers and showcase co-headliners Isaiah The Mosaic (ITM) will want to attend to hear new music live, including their new single “L.I.0.N.” from their upcoming release due out later this year.
Formed in 2011, ITM released their debut EP Systems in 2013. For their upcoming release, the Austin-based quintet channeled producer/drummer Danny Reisch. Mr. Reisch’s producer credits include White Denim, Dana Falconberry and Marmalakes to name a few. This, combined with their enchanting live set, makes Saturday’s show your chance to see this band on their way to the next level.
The night’s other main attraction is cosmic-disco funksters Whiite Walls. This is band is the quintessential party starter and proof that seemingly low social media numbers (under 1000 followers) don’t relate to turnout, probably due to the band consistently opening for popular touring acts. They are another Austin-based band on their way up.
Cheer Up Charlie’s is located at 900 Red River. Doors open at 9 p.m. 18+ welcome. $5 cover. Visit the Facebook event page here.
