Los Angeles-based indie-pop band The Neighbourhood have announced a performance at Stubb’s Waller Creek Amphitheater on July 18. Supporting acts for “The El Tour Blanco” will be Travis Scott and White Arrows. This headlining concert marks their return to Austin since their performances at this year’s South By Southwest. Tickets for the general public will go on sale Friday, May 9, at 10 a.m. via c3concerts.com and stubbsaustin.com.
The Neighbourhood is known by most for their break out hit singles “Sweater Weather” and “Afraid” from their debut album, I Love You, released last year via Columbia Records. Recently the group unveiled their new single “Honest,” part of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Original Motion Picture Soundtrack.
The Neighbourhood is composed of Jesse Rutherford (vocals), Jeremy Freedman (guitar), Zach Abels (guitar) and Mikey Margott (bass). Their original drummer Bryan Sammis announced via social media that he was leaving the band to pursue a solo career in music.
