Blue Starlite Mini Urban Drive-In invites moviegoers to their new spacious lot as their May films bring warmth to summer. Flashback to the 80s with classics like Sixteen Candles, Who Framed Roger Rabbit and Star Trek: Wrath of Khan lined-up for May.
The Drive-In has a new lot location too! There’s a new lot located at Robert Mueller’s former landing strip, which is still near the original location near Austin Studios. The new space is behind the National Guard Building at Austin Film Society. Along with the location, Blue Starlite is starting their first weekly series for the month of May. “Date Night” will be every Thursday with Sixteen Candles kicking off the series followed by Benny and Joon. Blue Starlite is still located at 1901 E. 51 st. st (outside Austin Studios), but there is a different entrance that leads you to their new lot location.
Tickets range from $7-55 depending on the type of package you choose or if you buy your tickets during the sale period. For more information on tickets, movies and packages, visit their Facebook and Twitter accounts. See the remaining May schedule below.
