Holy Mountain is set up to deliver a night of epic metal on Dec. 15. Heavy metal stoners head down to Red River and Seventh Street and rejoice—this night of music is for you. Four bands—Eagle Claw, Dixie Witch, The Blind Pets and Bridge Farmers—share the stage on Saturday night at the new Austin venue.
The night starts off at 9:45 p.m. with the locally-based psych rockers Bridge Farmers. Their stony metal vibrations will be followed by more local talent.
The uniquely Austiny rock band The Blind Pets are second on the bill, taking the stage at 10:30. Dixie Witch brings their heavy southern metal at 11:30 and this will also be their last show of the year.
Finally, at 12:30 a.m., the mammoth sounds of the headlining band, Eagle Claw, will close out the night.
Holy Mountain is located at 617 E. 7th St. Doors open at 9 p.m. and there is a $5 cover for ages 21 and up ($10 for under 21).
