On Friday night, come out to Beauty Ballroom for the Dallas/Fort Worth-based KISS tribute band Rock and Roll Over and special guests Think Lizzy. Bringing out the best in theatrics and costume with also enough make-up and hairspray to compete with any Dallas-area helmet-haired debutante. This top-notch KISS tribute band comes fully armed with KISS’s greatest hits and are fully prepared to rock you all night with their love gun and recruit you into their KISS army.
Rock and Roll Over is a collaboration of some seasoned musicians, including Jason McMasters of Dangerous Toys as Gene Simmons, Christopher Paul as Paul Stanley, Paul Brown of the JC Allstars as Peter Criss, Mike Campion of Houston’s Gene’s Addiction also as Gene Simmons, Allen Shelley as Ace Frehley and also, in the KISS tribute band, Love Gun, with bandmate Jason McMasters. All have studied the art of KISSdom and have mastered every move and every technique that made KISS one of the most influential and entertaining bands in Rock and Roll history.
Think Lizzy is an Austin-based tribute band fronted by Dublin, Ireland, native Stephen O’Brien, sporting an afro wig that would make the late Thin Lizzy frontman, Phil Lynott, proud. Playing hits such as “The Boys are Back in Town”, “Whiskey in a Jar” and “Cowboy Song,” Think Lizzy is a close parallel to one of the greatest rock bands of our time.
