Three directors, three stories and one purpose that connects each character: The Fourth Dimension. With a mixture of each director’s culture, oddity and euphoric elements, the characters are in search of the height of their existence. This search for purpose leads each character on an interesting journey. If you’ve searched for an enlightening movie with an eclectic aura, you’re in luck because Grolsch Film Works and VICE will be presenting their screening of the film and after party on Tuesday, Oct. 16.
Harmony Korine, Alexey Fedorchenko and Jan Kwiecinski combine their 30-minute stories, which were filmed in their home countries, to bring you inspiration on your journey. Val Kilmer stars in Korine’s short as a quirky, idiotic motivational speaker who happens to also be named Val Kilmer in the film. Kilmer’s character is in search of a higher existence while at the same time trying to help people out with their journey. Fedorchenko’s version of the film is a story about a Russian scientist who builds a time machine. The scientist’s passion to see the past is stopping him from living in the present. Kwiecinski characters embark on a journey that takes place in an abandoned village in Poland.
